Dave you all know him well
no teeth and glasses.
Always talking to someone,
having a laugh with the lasses.
Furness center was one place Dave could be found.
But if your kettle was boiling then COMOs coming round.
Many will remember when he dressed up as NINA ZABARONI
All dress, high heels with legs that were boney,
Looking in skips, and collecting his cans
Or walking with John Fusco both clasping their hands.
Honest David was his name - yeah thats what he said
But on that green scooter, he thought he was (Evil Kenevil) instead.
He could argue with you though not for long, say black was blue even when he was wrong.
But he forgive him you did when sorry hed say, coz that was our Dave in his own special way.
Youll have your own special memories but i,ll refresh a few more
theres bingo, his singing or his forever open door.
But the thing about Dave that i,ll remember the most,
was his love for his family and about them hed boast.
How much he loved Ann his wife, or equally loved children and grandkids
To Dave they were his life
A great loss to us all, but it was his time to part
but he,ll always be with us - in our memories and in our hearts
So Im sure you will agree with me, when I say to you this,

hi uncle david we were more like brother,s than nephew n uncle all the times we shared were a lifetime of happiness n loads of laugh,s all the thing,s we got up to.the scrap collecting,the fish in the back room,the budgies.the list could go on but there won,t be enough room to name them all.i miss you so much .god blessyou take care of lee tell him we said hi,and say hello to my mum and everyone else we know up there. love mick,yvonne n girl,s

she looked well and happy
i bet she missed you loads because i do
she still has river the dog
and she got loads of hairs all over me haha
